What Is Hosting?

So what is hosting? Well that is a great question and one that can be answered either in a complex or easy manner.

I am going to break this down and KISS (Keep It So Simple)

Let’s start at the beginning!

Website: 

A website is a collection of pages that people can view. It is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It is stored on something called a server.

Server:

A server is a high powered computer that is connected to the internet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is capable of showing your website to the world.

Hosting

Hosting refers to the service that a company provides that allows you to upload your website to a public server.
